John Hurst

President
As President of CWI Logistics, John Hurst is responsible for the strategic leadership of all business units within the organization. He came to CWI in January of 2021 and before becoming president served as Vice President of Operations overseeing all facets of operations for CWI’s 12 central Florida facilities.
Prior to CWI, John held senior leadership positions with Kane Logistics, Yusen Logistics, Performance Team, APL Logistics, and CEVA Logistics. Over his 30+ year career, he has acquired extensive cross-functional experience in transportation, distribution, contract logistics, business development, real estate, safety, and customer service.
John holds a BA in Material and Logistics Management from Michigan State University and an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University. He is also a member of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).

Mike O’Neill is CWI’s Vice President of Business Development. His responsibilities include shaping the organization’s commercial strategy, targeting and achieving top-line revenue goals, and new business acquisition. Prior to joining CWI Logistics in 2019, Mike held leadership positions at both Burris Logistics and Americold.
Bringing nearly 20 years of cold chain industry experience to CWI, he enjoys developing strong partnerships and adding value to our customer’s supply chains. Mike relocated from Philadelphia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.

Keith McClure is CWI’s Vice President, Facilities and Chief Engineer. His responsibilities include guidance oversight, and administration for our Process Safety Management (PSM) program associated with our anhydrous ammonia warehouse facilities. Additionally, Mr. McClure is responsible for all of the refrigeration systems and building maintenance needs. Prior to joining CWI Logistics in 2016, Keith held the position of Corporate Engineer, Ammonia Refrigeration Specialist for Smithfield foods in Smithfield, Virginia.
Keith’s background and knowledge of ammonia refrigeration span more than 28 years. Keith relocated from Smithfield, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Middle Tennessee State University.

Tony Goleno is CWI’s Vice President of Transportation Management. His responsibilities include implementing strategic practices to compete at a high level in the marketplace. Prior to joining CWI Logistics in 2017, Tony held leadership roles at Saddle Creek Logistics and Watkins Logistics, bringing over 25 years of supply chain expertise to CWI.
He enjoys building viable business alliances and implementing cost savings initiatives for our supply chain partners. Tony lives in Lakeland where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Florida Southern College.

Doug Sandvig is the Chief Financial Officer at CWI Logistics, where he manages the company’s finances and has served on the Board of Directors since November 2016.
Prior to CWI, Doug spent over 20 years in finance and other leadership roles at various transportation and logistics companies, including Smithway Motor Xpress a publicly traded trucking company. Additionally,
Doug worked for almost 10 years as a certified public accountant and received his BBA in accounting from Iowa State University and his Master’s degree from Drake University.

As the strategic leader for the People function, Andrea is responsible for delivering talent acquisition, retention, and motivation solutions that harness the full potential of CWI’s most valuable asset. Namely, its people. She is committed to creating a positive and collaborative workplace culture that helps CWI stand out as an employer of choice in Polk County.
Andrea brings extensive human resources experience to CWI having served in a variety of HR disciplines with increasing levels of responsibility over the last 25 years, most recently with W.S. Badcock Corporation in Mulberry, FL. Andrea earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Polk State College and maintains accreditation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
