CWI Logistics attended the Atlanta CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) event this week which was also a benefit for the Toys for Tots foundation. The guest speaker was Dr. Karl Manrodt from Georgia Southern University who co-authored “The Vested Way, How P&G, McDonalds and Microsoft are Redefining Winning in Business Relationships.” The topic covered how several companies are beginning to use a vested approach with suppliers to gain a competitive advantage by redefining how they “ win” in their business relationships.
The event had leaders in attendance from across the supply chain industry and raised money/collected toys for a great cause in the Toys for Tots program.
