September is “National Preparedness Month” and the Central Florida Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, teamed with the Division of Emergency Management’s logistics organization to share a story of disaster supply chain management in Florida. A tour of the state emergency logistics response center was conducted in Orlando and Florida’s Logistics Chief Chuck Hagan spoke about how the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) prepares for and responds to logistics support requests.
